The project consisted of creating a Teleprompter Filmic app as a part of already existing Filmic app.
The challenge was to maintain the same style of the existing app and at the same time make it different from other existing Teleprompter apps on the market.
The app had to be designed both for Portrait and Landscape orientation and for both iOS & Android devices.

I had made a broad research on existing Telepromter apps on the market, analysed what is useful and not. Then I carefully studied the existing Filmic app and its UI/UX design manual and graphic elements. As a result I came up with my own idea of the UI for the app that would compose of the most useful features and has more user/friendly look and design..
I created all the graphic elements myself, since it had to be totally compliant with the existing brandbook. I used various design programs, such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Sketch. As well as i did various usability testings with both company employees and people from outside and within video industry.
I handed in the project directly to the developers, creating redlines document as demonstrated on the righthand picture above.
